Jessica Johnson
Co-Founder, JO Ambassador
In 2012, Nathan and I fulfilled a dream when we opened Johnson Orthodontics, a practice centered on patients and our community. I spent every day at the office for many years. I wore many hats, from assisting to scheduling to treatment coordinating to marketing to insurance, and even cleaning the bathrooms!
When our children were born, I was fortunate to take some time away from the office and begin transitioning into the new role as our marketing director. Now I try to spend most of my time behind the scenes. You’ll often find me lending a hand with marketing or re-decorating the office.
I enjoy watching Nathan fulfill his dream of practicing orthodontics, and I absolutely love seeing the reaction of patients when they see their smiles for the first time after they’ve completed treatment. Working with our team is a truly gratifying experience.
Each team member is passionate about their job, and they go above and beyond for our patients. Outside of the office, you’ll find me volunteering with the Junior League of Huntsville, serving on Huntsville Hospital’s Development Council, and being a chauffeur to our kiddos (Eli and Ava).

I joined the practice in 2014 stepping into orthodontic administration and management after a decade in commercial banking, I’ve never looked back. I’m incredibly fortunate to work alongside an amazing doctor and a fantastic team that truly feels like family. Managing this team is especially rewarding, and I love organizing activities and events that balance work and fun, ensuring we stay productive while also enjoying our time together.
When I’m not at work, my husband and I love spending time outdoors—hiking, camping, or exploring new places. We’ve raised two incredible daughters and recently added one awesome son-in-law! Our Cavapoo, Obi, is always by our side, ready for adventure. I also have a passion for crafting, from wood carving to cake decorating — if it’s DIY , I’m in!

With over 12 years of combined experience in the dental and orthodontic fields, I’ve been a proud member of the Johnson Orthodontics team since 2016. My family and I relocated from Kentucky—Go Big Blue!—to Alabama in 2010. We have two wonderful sons and a spirited toy poodle, Kobe-T’Challa.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me enjoying my backyard, bowling, binge-watching a great Netflix series, or diving into a captivating book by Kennedy Ryan or Abby Jimenez. I also love sharing laughs with my coworkers and have a playful side that occasionally leads to pulling a prank or two on my boss!

I was thrilled to join this incredible team in 2021, starting as the New Patient Coordinator before moving into my current role as Treatment Coordinator . I genuinely enjoy being the first welcoming face our patients see, building connections, and guiding them as they begin their journey to a confident smile. Originally from the charming town of Oneonta, I’ve lived across Alabama, including Helena, and now proudly call Huntsville home since 2019. When I’m not at the office, you’ll find me spending quality time with my wonderful husband, JT , and our daughters, Gracey and Emma. Together, we are passionate about giving back to the Huntsville community through our church and love making a difference wherever we can.

I was born in Puerto Rico and have called Huntsville my home for over 20 years. Istarted my dental administrative career path 5 years ago at a non-profit dental clinic where we helped low-income families get their children access to dental care. Being bilingual in Spanish, I was also key in helping communicate the importance of good oral health to those who don't speak English. I feel a profound sense of fulfillment providing support to dental clinicians, in an administrative capacity, help people find their best, most healthy smile. Life has recently led me to making the jump from general dentistry to orthodontics, and I could not be more grateful that my path has led me here. The team at Johnson Orthodontics is so positive and the atmosphere is so welcoming. It truly feels like a family here. We strive to give the absolute best care and attention to every person that we help.
Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my little family and enjoying life as it comes. I enjoy reading, writing, and deciphering interesting personalized car tags.

I joined the practice in 2024 as a Front Desk Assistant and am proud to be one of the first smiling faces you’ll see when you arrive. Creating a warm, welcoming environment for our patients is something I genuinely love, and it’s an honor to be part of a team that values care, connection, and community.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Auburn University, along with a minor in Business Administration. My background in hospitality allows me to bring a friendly, organized, and service-driven approach to my role each day.
One of the best parts of my job is getting to know our patients and being part of the journey toward confident, beautiful smiles. Outside the office, I enjoy hiking with my husband, spending time with our four wonderful kids, and going antiquing with my mom and sisters. I’m also a proud dog mom to Hazel, our sweet little Yorkie.

I am a certified dental assistant with over six years of experience dedicated to patient care. Every day, I find joy in meeting new people and creating a friendly, enjoyable experience for each patient. Building relationships and getting to know our patients throughout their orthodontic journey is something I truly value.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is witnessing a patient’s confidence soar after their smile is transformed. The work environment at Johnson Orthodontics is both fun and uplifting, and I’m incredibly grateful to be part of such an amazing team.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my three dogs, exploring antique shops, traveling, and soaking in live music!

I’ve been part of the Johnson Orthodontics team since 2019, and I truly love my job because it allows me to make a positive impact on people’s lives by helping them achieve confident, healthy, and beautiful smiles. My coworkers have become some of my closest friends, and together, we work seamlessly as a team.
I’m dedicated to ensuring every patient feels comfortable and well-cared for throughout their smile journey. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a team that transforms smiles and boosts self-esteem.
In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, spending time with my dogs, Momo and Misa, traveling as often as I can, and attending music festivals.

I earned my associate degree in science and a dental assisting certificate from Wallace State Community College, and I’ve been proudly working in the dental field for the past three years. It’s a pleasure to work alongside Dr . Johnson and my fantastic coworkers, where we strive to create a welcoming environment for every patient. I take great pride in ensuring each patient feels comfortable and cared for throughout their visits. One of the most fulfilling parts of my job is watching our patients grow more confident in their smiles as they progress through treatment.
Outside of work, I love staying active by walking trails and working out, indulging in a little retail therapy, and exploring my creative side through photography.

I joined Johnson Orthodontics after graduating from my assistant program, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Our team works seamlessly together, our patients are amazing, and we truly feel like one big family.
After shadowing multiple dental specialties, I was drawn to orthodontics, and I’m so glad I pursued this path. I love building connections with my patients and being part of their journey to a confident smile. At Johnson Orthodontics, everyone is supportive and always ready to lend a hand. I joined Johnson Orthodontics in 2023 after completing a Dental Assisting program, and what I love most about my role is being part of making our patients’ dream smiles a reality. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness their confidence soar once their braces come off and they see their beautiful new smiles. I also feel fortunate to work with such an amazing team—I truly couldn’t ask for better coworkers or a more supportive boss.

I joined the JO team shortly after relocating from California and have been in the orthodontic industry for over 20 years. I truly enjoy what I do! I love working with patients to help create beautiful, confident smiles. One of the most exciting moments is when someone gets their braces off—you can see the pure joy and pride in their big smiles. I especially enjoy working with patients who aren't sure if their teeth are fixable and then watching their transformation unfold. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of that journey.
