Dr. Nathan Johnson's commitment to orthodontics is built on a solid educational foundation and a passion for helping his patients achieve the best possible outcomes. Dr. Johnson earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Georgia. He then completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.
Dr. Johnson furthered his expertise by pursuing advanced education in general dentistry at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, VA Hospital. He completed his orthodontic training at the University of Iowa, where he not only earned a certificate in orthodontics but also a postdoctoral Master of Science with his research focusing on the clinical applications of advanced orthodontic technology.
Throughout his career, Dr. Johnson has been dedicated to continuous learning, ensuring he remains at the forefront of orthodontic techniques and technology. His commitment to excellence is recognized by his peers and he is a respected member of various professional organizations including the American Board of Orthodontics, where he is a Diplomate, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Johnson's research has been published in several prestigious journals, and he has been honored with numerous awards recognizing his excellence in both academic and clinical orthodontics. He continues to contribute to the field through ongoing education and as a mentor to emerging orthodontists.
